Service Manager – Domestic Abuse & First Response
Role: Permanent, Part Time - 30 hours excluding breaks
Location: working across Bognor and Chichester offices
Salary: FTE £30,525.74 - £31,551.68 Pro Rata based on 30 hours a week £24,751 - £25,582
An exciting opportunity has arisen at My Sisters’ House Women’s Centre for a Service Manager to lead our Domestic Abuse and First Response Teams. Applicants should be SafeLives IDVA qualified or equivalent with a minimum of two years’ experience in the DA/VAWG sector, with demonstrable leadership experience.
The successful applicant will lead, manage, and motivate staff and volunteers in both teams to ensure the provision of consistent and high-quality domestic abuse and frontline services to all women. You will work as part of a team of specialists, supporting complex, self-identifying women, providing information, advocacy, and practical assistance in relation to a range of barriers including domestic abuse, current and historic, health and wellbeing, finances, combating social isolation, benefits, and housing.

Ideally, candidates should have:
Knowledge and understanding of trauma-informed practice and the gendered nature of domestic abuse.
Ability to work within a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
Resilience and adaptability with a passion to see women’s lives transformed from crisis to recovery.
Ability to act with integrity and accountability.
Ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve their full potential, with leadership and management experience
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving ability.
Strong professional boundaries.
Knowledge and understanding of the importance of multiagency working and GDPR, Confidentiality, Safeguarding, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and the promotion of equalities
IT literate and confident with using technology including databases and Microsoft Office 365
Full UK driving licence
