We collect personal information directly from you, or if you have been referred to our services by another agency and they have a lawful basis for which they can process your personal information. We also collect personal information when you visit our website, fundraise for us or sign up to volunteer with My Sisters’ House.

The personal information we collect

We love sharing news about how your support is changing the lives of the women and girls in Coastal West Sussex. This includes sending you information about our work, news, appeals, campaigns, events and information on volunteering.

Fundrasing

My Sisters’ House delivers a range of services to support all women and girls are valued and treated as equals.

Fundraising enables us to reach more women, to provide a better service to those we already work with and to provide the services and support that our local communities need. We rely on the support of individuals, organisations and businesses who fundraise and donate to My Sisters’ House to help us continue our work and achieve our mission,

To help us plan and deliver our fundraising activity, we may review information made available publicly by the Charity Commission, Companies House, open data sources such as 360 Giving, social media and information that has been published in newspapers and articles.

My Sisters’ House provides a range of community based activities. We provide a package of services designed to meet women’s needs, and are supported by a range of funding streams, which includes donations from individuals, businesses, grants and contracts from charitable organisations and public sector bodies. This funding enables us to offer a holistic package of services to meet women’s needs.

We will only share personal information which is either consented to, or necessary by law. We are committed to ensure that all of services, centres and partners have adequate levels of data protection safeguards when processing your personal information.

We monitor information security compliance and have written contracts which obligate our partners or third party providers to process your personal information only on our instructions and in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws.
