A Festive Thank You from All of Us at My Sisters' House!

A massive THANK YOU to every single one of you who has supported us throughout 2024—whether by donating money, toiletries, or your precious time. There are just so many amazing individuals to name! We’re so touched that you remember the work we do and want to help us support our clients. You’re all absolute stars. THANK YOU! ❤️

Here are just some of the incredible things that have happened recently:

  • Becca Mansbridge, you’re amazing! Becca competed in a female boxing match on 7th December and chose us as her charity. She raised £300! Thank you, Becca! 🥊

  • Dunelm and their incredible customers who took part in the Delivering Joy campaign, and WOW—a whole van-load of toiletries and gift vouchers arrived last week at our Bognor Regis office. Your generosity left us speechless. Thank you for delivering so much joy! 🎁

  • @TheatricallyLydia, you left us in awe with your Pay It Forward campaign inspired by Come From Away. While following the show’s UK tour in memory of her friend Laura, you brought kindness everywhere you went. When you popped into MSH, you surprised us with £280 worth of toiletries and stationery—and yes, glue sticks that I literally needed right then. Talk about perfect timing! THANK YOU!

  • A huge festive shoutout to Sophie’s Boatyard in Dell Quay, Chichester, for raising money through t-shirt sales and buying us 20 door stoppers and personal alarms. Such a thoughtful gesture that will make a big difference!

  • Thank you to Glorious Spa for running a Christmas campaign in support of MSH! They’ve collecting toiletries for our clients, which is so appreciated. Plus, they did my Christmas nails—fabulous! 💅

  • Hats off to Leigh from Layla Leigh Millinery, who held a charity raffle for us during the grand opening of her new studio in Chichester at the beginning of December. Thank you, Leigh, for your creativity and generosity!

  • A mince pie never tasted better than the ones kindly donated by Morrisons Bognor Regis. You brightened up tea time for staff, volunteers and drop-in clients. Cheers for the festive treat! 🥧

  • Joanna Bowen of Jo Roo Designs made our Christmas extra special by creating unique I-Beans for all our staff. These handy little beanbags prop up books, tablets, or phones and are perfect for the office. Such a thoughtful and practical gift—thank you!

  • A special shoutout to Eastergate/Barnham WI, who donated beautifully made-up toiletry bags for our clients. These thoughtful packs make such a difference.

  • The wonderful Elmer Sands Community Group also stepped in with a fantastic donation of much-needed toiletries. Thank you for keeping our shelves stocked for those who need it most.

  • A huge THANK YOU to The Wilkes Head pub in Eastergate for their incredible £500 donation from their weekly raffle. This will go directly towards supporting our clients and ensuring our services remain free. You’re amazing!

Finally, we want to acknowledge the generosity of these fantastic organisations:

  • Co-op Community Fund

  • Chichester Community Development Trust

  • Benefact Group - as My Sisters’ House won £1000 in their charity draw

Your support makes everything we do possible, and we’re so grateful to have you by our side.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year. Let’s keep spreading kindness in 2025!

With love and gratitude,

April, Marcia and all the My Sisters' House Team ❤️
